Hi

I read your website and I must thank you for the good information I found
there. I have a Senao 2511 EXT2 PCMCIA card with a Prism 2,5 chipset.
Before flashing it was:

wifi0: NIC: id=0x800c v1.0.0
wifi0: PRI: id=0x15 v1.0.0
wifi0: STA: id=0x1f v1.4.9


and after flashing it became:

wifi0: NIC: id=0x800c v1.0.0
wifi0: PRI: id=0x15 v1.1.1
wifi0: STA: id=0x1f v1.7.4


Before it did not do roaming with the hostap driver, the orinoco driver
could roam but I was not able to select any networks in the
NetworkManager. With the new firmware everything works perfectly with
the hostap driver, as it should be. The card now works like a charm
injecting packets with kernel 2.8.18, with a patched hostap module (see
http://patches.aircrack-ng.org/hostap-kernel-2.6.18.patch).
