Subject: Actiontec 802MIP: Prism 2.5 successful flash

Hi

Like many other people I found your howto about flashing Prism Cards very
useful too!

The card I flashed was a Mini PCI Actiontec "802MIP" pulled out of a HP
Omnibook vt6200.
Before flashing it was:

NICID: id=0x8013 v1.0.0 (PRISM II (2.5) Mini-PCI (SST parallel flash))
PRIID: id=0x0015 v1.0.0
STAID: id=0x001f v1.4.1 (station firmware)

The updated 1.4.1 station firmware came from HP and and was unusuable
because of corrupted packages even with a very good link. Before this an
even older firmware was included. This is why I replaced this card in the
notebook by another one (at that time I did not knew your homepage). Now the
card is performing like a charm as Wireless AP on an PC Engines ALIX board.
Before firmware flash the card was recognized, but master mode seemed not
working, after flashing first to primary to 1.0.1 and station to 1.4.9, then
1.8.2, everything seems working up to now.
