hey man,

i bought an old thinkpad A31 off of criagslist for 100bux, thing runs
like a champ with xubuntu.

anyways, it had the prism 2.5 chip station firmware 1.3.9, which didnt
support wpa.  after finding your howto and upgrading to 1.8.2 per your
suggestion i'm finally able to use my own home wireless connection!
