Even if this worked for me it might fail for you, so no promises... The start: I got an wireless bridge SL-2611 AP3 Plus 1.00 with the above senao card inside it with american ver of firmware and everything worked fine until our accesspoint i use changed channel outside 1-11, yep 13 so something had to be done. I had one old Compaq laptop which has win98 clean install (not win98SE) perfect since it has pcmcia ports. I looked around, and all the single floppy with linux distros i could find had old vers of Hostap and prism2_srec around 2003 and i know i could make my own floppy and build but since it already had win98 in it i decided to use it. Then go to http://www.ciudadwireless.com/webdoc/senaoregion/ get the winupdate and install it,and then the files (senaoUSA.pda,sf010800.hex) then get the hard to find drivers, the ones that worked for me was Kobishiwireless.zip i found them here(do the free registration): http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=131677 unpack and place them on the desktop.) OK i opened the wireless bridge and pulled out the senao card(be careful taking off the antennacord use small screwdrivers on both sides of the connector to pull it straight out). Place it in the one of the pcmcia slots and power up,(i reconnected the antenna cord and used the small antenna that came with the bridge don't dare think what the SWR would be without antenna) after win98 detects hardware then searching for drivers point it to the folder with drivers "New Driver"-"Driver"-"Win9x-2k" then ok. Restart, then the led should turn on, and you're set for the next step. start the winupdate, drag and drop the above 2 files(senaoUSA.pda,sf010800.hex) in the winupdate window, you don't have to do anything else than flash, but i suggest making a backup of your firmware there is one option in the menus, also you might want to have same MAC nr you had before there are options to change that too otherwise it will be changed to the one in the flash files. In my case it doesn't matter so i flashed it it takes about 10-15 s then done firmware ver before was 1.4.9 now it reads 1.8.0 (if i remember it correct) all 1-13 ch works fine with full power, yahoo If anyone was helped by this i'm glad regards Harry
