D ( an old card but it works fine ) product info: "NETGEAR MA401RA Wireless PC", "Card", "ISL37300P", "Eval-RevA" manfid: 0x000b, 0x7300 function: 6 (network) from : NICID: id=0x800c v1.0.0 PRIID: id=0x0015 v1.1.0 STAID: id=0x001f v1.3.6 to : NICID: id=0x800c v1.0.0 PRIID: id=0x0015 v1.1.1 STAID: id=0x001f v1.8.0 works very well. commands : root@laptop:~/ma401# prism2_srec wlan0 -f pk010101.hex SF010800.HEX and root@laptop:~/ma401# prism2_srec wlan0 -v -f pk010101.hex SF010800.HEX Run on Debian Sid 2.6.8-2-686 with packages pcmcia-cs 3.2.5-11, hostap-modules-2.6.8-2-686 and hostap-utils No need to recompile hostap-utils, PRISM2_DOWNLOAD_SUPPORT and PRISM2_NON_VOLATILE_DOWNLOAD are already enabled by default ... ( simpliest as Debian ... ) Just a little strange stuff, maybe i am not alone in this case, when i start pcmcia daemons, 2 networks interfaces are mounted, wlan0 and wifi0 ... network / wireless configurations only works on wlan0, i dont know what the wifi0 interface do there ...
