Greetings -

I'm running 2.4.20-28.9 with Netgear MA401RA (Prism 2.5) using the
orinoco_cs driver with a number of well-known problems (see David
Gilberts webpage).  I updated the firmware to P=1.1.1 and S=1.7.4 and
everything works swimmingly.

But without your HOWTO, I would never even have started.  Netgear makes
no mention of a winupdate, and the version that came on the distribution
CD can only upgrade to S=1.3.6  THANK YOU!  This is an EXCELLENT document.

NOTE: I had some confusion about the NICID, which is not a salient piece
of information I can get from the orinoco_cs driver without recompiling.
 After googling, I determined the MA401RA almost certainly has a
NICID=0x800c.
