I would like to thank you for writing the instructions found on
http://linux.junsun.net/intersil-prism/ - they were very helpful.

I have successfully upgraded the firmware of my Linksys WPC11v3 PCMCIA
card (NICID=0x800c) to firmware version 1.1.1/1.7.4 as found on
http://www.netgate.com/support/prism_firmware/ using
http://linux.junsun.net/intersil-prism/WinUpdate-0-7-0.exe.

The firmware version before the upgrade was 1.1.0/1.4.2. The hardware
version is 1.0.0.

The upgraded card works well with Gentoo GNU/Linux using the
linux-wlan-ng driver.
